Saying IRS Criminal investigation and want to talk to my attorney. I said I do not have one and then he told me that charges have been filed against me for tax invasion tax fraud felony etc and I should be ready for jail time. He offered a deal to settle the matter or else for consequences. I reported the matter to local police who tried to call that number but they hangon him. I went to local IRS office and they say that I do not owe anything and nothing is pending against me, I was further told that IRS never called you at first instance without serving you first written letter by USA mail following by a certified letter and if no response they can contact you over the phone. IRS never used any other area code except 800to call

I received a call from a Peter Sampson or Simpson this evening, it seemed that he couldn't say his name or number without stumbling. I did an extensive internet search which showed that this scam has been going on for a while. The calls are apparently originating from either Pakistan or India. I immediately recognized it, however the elderly may not fare as well. Please pass on the word to anyone you know. I will make a pledge to all that if I ever am diagnosed with terminal cancer, I will personally hunt down each and every one of these people and take care of the problem! If you need money....go get a job! Sincerely, The armed citizen
