It's been calling my boyfriend's house (via TV box) AND my cellphone. Weird.

Called multiple times with no message left. When I called them back all I got was a shady message that did not specify who it was but said that if I received a call from this number I could leave a message and get a call back. Super shady

This phone number called my residence's landline this evening. The funny thing about that is the fact that I don't currently own a house phone. A little box popped up on my TV screen notifying me of this attempt at communication. You see, Comcast says that we need to have a landline because it's cheaper to buy the package with one than without one. So we have a landline, but no phone. (We get voicemails, too, but when I go to check them on their website this feature never works and so I have never heard any of them. Comcast, amirite?) Why have they structured their pricing in this way? Beats me. Do they get paid by the companies that call people a lot and so it makes up for having to operate unusable and unwanted landlines? I'm sure the marginal cost of operating additional ones is not very substantial, though. Seems like a waste either way. Anywho, I don't know who this number belongs to. I can't imagine anyone of any value calling a number that's never actually been used.
