Got a text at 4:42 AM saying, "Lookout is initiating a connection based on your request. FLXQdew25" I did not request anything. I saw on another spam website to text back "Stop" and that this would unsubscribe me. I am trying that. From sites I have seen, it appears that this has been happening to folks for at least the last two years.

Scam? Calling elderly user of Dell computers offering to upgrade his Windows systems for a reduced rate. He spent 1 1/2 hours remotely accessing computer. He said his name was John Thomas and he used this phone number. Called Dell computer and this number is not part of their division. Called him back and the phone rang and rang and no answer and no answering machine. As soon as I hung up a man (using this phone number) called. He said he was a Dell employee when I confronted him. He maintained he was legitimate. Dell says he's not one of theirs.
