I got a call from this number. It was from Bank of America or perhaps check free if they use that service. This was a legitimate call back to try to resolve an issue I asked Bank of America to look into regarding the payment from their bill pay system that was not received. They may use numbers that you can't call them back on same number. I don't really know for sure. But this was a valid call and was important that I answer it.

I tried calling this number back, they never referenced their business name on their voice mail. It was a very unprofessional set up and kept referring to their Customer Service Center- but never an actual business name. Was on hold for several minutes- no response. SCAMMERS

Saying they are Denver Fire Dept. Federal Credit Union- Fraud Prevention Center and they VERIFY themselves that this is not a soliciting call. Then they go on to say call 866-270-3864 opt. 6 to Verify activity and reference #. SCAM SCAM SCAM They keep asking for a gentleman who's not connected to my phone number. WATCH OUT FOR THIS #!!!!!! I've been harassed at least 5 times by this 'company' in the past few months.

I called my bank's Online Bill Pay department to follow up on a Bill Pay that was not credited. The representative put me on hold a couple of times just to let me know that she was still on hold with the company that received the check. The third time she tried to put me on hold, the line was disconnected. Right away, I called the Customer Service number back and received assistance from another banking representative. Since I was on my home phone, a call was made to my cell phone from the number 800-279-2674. Of course, since I did not recognize the number, I let it go and a voice message was recorded. I completed my conversation with the 2nd bank representative and then checked my cell phone message. The message was made by the first representative who dropped the call by error telling me to call the customer service number back. I did goggle search this number and found much information. I cannot speak for anyone else but me but my experience with this number was legitimate.

their not spam and their not "phishing "! This is Fiserv..They are a call center! They handle automated bill pay and credit card fraud!
