I called the number, and they identified themselves as working for BofA, but they were not BofA. They did, however, say that if I felt uncomfortable to call BofA number on the back of my card. I did, and BofA confirmed that they use this company to verify if charges are true or fraudulent. So, if I get a call from these guys again, I'll just call BofA Directly and go right to the "source." Just my $.02 here in Oceanside, CA

Received two calls from this number within 2 hours but they did not leave a message . I did call the number back and they claim to be Bank of America, card services, fraud dept. I hung up and called Bank of America who confirmed this phone number is NOT BANK OF AMERICA. They asked to send an email to with any info.

Called 2 mornings in a row at 8:14 - Automated service claiming to be Bank Of America Fraud dept, asking me to press 1 if I was "My name" - don't know how they knew my full name. Pressed 1 the first time and call immediately hung up. Called BOA customers service in Mubai from the number on my bill, and "Steve" assured me that a live person will call if there was fraudulent activity on my card. Must be a scam, I just don't know how they got both my full name and cell number

The call was an automated voice saying that they were from Bank of America and they had detected fraud on my account and gave us numbers to push if we were this person or that person. I DID NOT RESPOND and it quickly hung up after I didn't do anything. I was not falling for it.
