Received numerous daily calls since before January, blocked this number and are now receiving the same calls from "Justin Fisher calling from USA Today and the NFL working with children " from the number 954-372-4639. Annoying and harassing.

marketing call

This person Joe Roberts has called many times and refuses to leave a message or send an email. I have explained to him on many occasions that my boss is very hard to reach. He is very pushy..the funny thing is I wish he would wake up and realize that we are the gate keepers and there is no way your getting thru unless you leave a proper message. My boss is usually happy to talk to anyone and also I could suggest where he should go to in my company if he wanted us to take out advertisments.

Just read Guest's comment. Interestingly, "Joe Roberts" called today (8-28-13) for the same manager that "Gary" did (8-14-13) regarding the Super Bowl. We both read from our respective scripts and he gave up; only this time, 954-etc. appeared on Caller ID. I believe that Gary and Joe are the same person; their voices and edgy attitude are identical. I neglected to include in my previous entry that "Gary" claimed that part of his call involved advertising but there was more to it than that, which was why he insisted on speaking with someone. This matched a prior Super Bowl rep’s routine.

Gary wanted to speak with a specific marketing manager about the Super Bowl. When I requested his last name and that of his company, because managers' calls are screened, he balked and repeated himself. I did the same regarding policy, and he asked, "Is she there?" I said that I had no idea, I didn't keep her schedule, and he hung up. I've received many calls from various sports leagues, but none are as pushy as the NFL.
